About Our Highlands Financial Advisor Practice
We are a small financial advisor practice in Highlands, NJ. We help individuals, couples, families, business owners and retirees make money decisions that still make sense ten and twenty years out. We look at what a choice costs today and what it costs to keep.

Most financial choices look fine on the day you sign. The trouble shows up later. A fund with a low entry price can carry yearly fees that add up over decades. A policy that seems affordable at 35 can get expensive to keep at 60. A retirement account set up in a hurry can leave a tax bill for your kids.
So we start every conversation the same way. What does this cost now, what does it cost each year to keep, and how long does it need to last? We put those numbers side by side for you in writing. Then you decide.
That habit runs through all of our work, from financial planning and investment management to retirement planning, legacy planning and tax management. It matters most in life insurance consulting, where the gap between the premium you see and the total you pay over the years can be wide.

Total cost, not just the first bill
When we compare two options, we show the fees, the expected upkeep and how long each one is meant to last. A lower starting price is not always the better deal.
Plain answers to direct questions
If something in your portfolio is not pulling its weight, we say so. If what you have is working, we tell you to leave it alone. You will not get a pitch for something new just because it is new.
Check-ins on a schedule
A financial plan needs upkeep like anything else. We book regular reviews to go over your goals, rebalance where it makes sense and adjust when life shifts. That might be a different job, selling your company or a grandchild on the way.
Your pace, your call
We explain the tradeoffs and give you time to think. We do not ask you to sign anything at the first meeting.

We meet in person at our office, and we are just as glad to work by phone or video if that suits your schedule better. A lot of our clients come from Highlands, Atlantic Highlands, Middletown, Red Bank, Rumson and Fair Haven. Others are in Little Silver, Fairview, Monmouth Beach, Long Branch and Hazlet.
